Whats up,

So if you are any type of wakeboarder you know that there are more options then straping into a wakeboard. Some other options are wake skate, wake surf or wakeboarding. Wakeboarding is the traditional wakeboard with binding. Wake skate is similar with some differences like the fact that you dont have bindings, meaning that you ride on the board kind of like a skate board. This makes things somewhat more challenging but also allows for more style points with the ability to do tricks which you are unable to do with a wakeboard. personally, I actually had an easier time getting up with a wakeskate because of the ability to move your feet around instead of having them straped down. But once you are up it is a lot easier to lose balance. Wake surfing is a whole new tangent of wakeboarding. The board is completely redesigned and you ride so much closer to the boat. To maximize the wake surfing experience you need to adjust the wake by either having a boat bladder which fills with water and drops the boat, creating a larger wave. Or you could simply have people sit on one side of the boat. Either way will allow larger wake. The key objective to wake surfing is to find the point in the wake and be able to let go of the rope and ride along, like a surfer.

There are many different aspects of wakeboarding then one might think and I plan on researching all different sides and bringing information to the readers. I am always interested in what readers want to know about so feel free to comment or get a hold of me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
Thank you and keep riding.

Hello, Let me begin by introducting myself. My name is Alex, I am 21 and currently living in Virginia Beach, VA. I’m originally from outside of Portland, OR and lived there for 19 glorious years. I grew up living summers on the Columbia and Willamette Rivers being towed behind a boat either on a board or innertube. To me, nothing else feels as amazing as catching a wake. Although I am nothing to brag about when it comes to wakeboarding, I still have a strong passion for wakeboarding and everything behind it. My passion has led me to writing my first blog about it and sharing my experiences with all readers. Over the next few years I hope to increase my knowledge of wakeboarding and share it with everyone interested. I plan on researching different products including boards, ropes, suits and anything else related to wakeboarding and sharing them with my readers so definitely stay tuned for reviews and more in the future. Thank you and keep riding. -Alex
